Refunds
We are unable to offer refunds for open courses.
Full payment is required upon booking of your course place and your place will not be confirmed until full payment is received.
Transfers due to exceptional circumstances
If you do not complete your booked course, can no longer attend the course or cannot attend the course in full, we will be unable to refund your course place. We will not transfer your course place to another course except in exceptional circumstances (which do not include changes to workload or work demands). At least two weeks notice is required for any change to be requested.
In exceptional circumstances, please contact support@itsaplayground.org outlining your circumstances and we will review each case on a situation-by-situation basis.
Upon assessment of your situation, provided the notice criteria has been met, we will advise if it is viable to transfer your place to another open course. If this is the case, we will transfer you to a new open course without charge (subject to availability). All transfers must be to courses within 6 months of the original course dates and may incur additional fees if MHFA or SFA increase their course costs between the course you had originally booked and the transferred course date.
If you require a second transfer due to exceptional circumstances, this will incur a £60 admin fee. If you are not able to attend this second new course, you will have to re-book and repay the full fee for the course.
Minimum Numbers Attendance
It's a Playground endeavour to create an optimal learning environment for our MHFAider®s in which to enhance their skills and knowledge. To do this, we require at least six attendees to register for the course so that activities can be effective, and delegates receive the best possible outcome. If the minimum number of registrants is not met, we will contact you two weeks prior to the course start date, where we will work with current registrants to find the next best substitute date. If we need to reschedule the date of the course, you will also be able to receive a full refund, should that be your preferred choice.
